Jamaica Wedding Photographer — Michael Saab
Jamaica is one of the most beautiful places in the world to get married — and choosing to celebrate there is a decision worth honouring with photographs that do it justice.
Planning a destination wedding halfway across the world takes a certain kind of trust. You're choosing vendors you've never met in person, in a place you may have only visited once — and somehow, in the middle of all that planning, you have to find a photographer you believe in completely.

Your Wedding Photographer in Jamaica
I'm Michael Saab (Mike) — a Jamaica destination wedding photographer based in Montego Bay. For over 20 years, couples from around the world have trusted me to show up on one of the most important days of their lives and tell their story honestly and beautifully. That trust is something I never take lightly.

Wherever your wedding takes you on the island, I've likely photographed there. Beachfront ceremonies in Negril, resort celebrations in Montego Bay, garden weddings in Ocho Rios, intimate elopements in Port Antonio. As a wedding photographer in Jamaica for more than two decades, I know the venues, the light, and the landscapes deeply — from the north coast resorts of the Rose Hall corridor to the clifftop boutiques of Negril and the lush rainforest coves of Port Antonio. That familiarity means less logistics stress for you, and better photographs for everyone.
I am a recommended vendor at Half Moon Resort, Round Hill Hotel and Villas, and Tryall Club — three of Jamaica's most celebrated private estate venues — with no outside vendor fee when you book through me at these properties.
My Approach to Jamaica Destination Wedding Photography
I care about your day — the way it actually feels, the moments that happen when nobody is posing for anything, the details you'll want to remember decades from now.
My approach is natural and documentary. I move quietly through the day, stay close to the moments that matter, and give you a gallery that tells the full story — not just the highlights. The tears before the ceremony. The laughter mid-first-dance. The look between the two of you that words couldn't do justice to.
A lot of couples tell me they barely noticed I was there. Then they open their gallery and can't believe what I caught. That's exactly what I'm going for.

Where I Photograph Weddings Across Jamaica
Jamaica's wedding landscape is as varied as the island itself. Each region has a distinct character, and I know them all intimately from years of working across the full length of the island.
Montego Bay Wedding Photography
Montego Bay is my home base and Jamaica's premier destination wedding hub. I photograph at every major venue along the Rose Hall corridor and beyond — Half Moon Resort, Round Hill, Tryall Club, Rose Hall Great House, Hyatt Ziva and Zilara, Sandals Montego Bay, Iberostar, RIU, Jewel Grande, Royalton Blue Waters, Secrets, and Dreams Rose Hall. For a complete guide to Montego Bay venues, see the Montego Bay wedding photographer page.
Negril Wedding Photography
Negril's cliff-top venues, Seven Mile Beach, and intimate boutique resorts create some of the most visually dramatic wedding settings in the Caribbean. I photograph at Rockhouse Hotel, Tensing Pen, The Cliff Hotel, The Caves, Idle Awhile, and along the beach itself. Learn more on the Negril weddings page.
Port Antonio Wedding Photography
Port Antonio is Jamaica's most untouched and romantic region — lush rainforest, the Blue Lagoon, Frenchman's Cove, and the grandeur of Trident Castle. Weddings here feel genuinely singular, and the photographs reflect that. See the Port Antonio weddings page for more.
Ocho Rios Wedding Photography
Ocho Rios offers waterfall landscapes, tropical gardens, and iconic properties including Couples Tower Isle, Sandals Royal Plantation, and Goldeneye. The Ocho Rios weddings page covers venues and details.
Kingston & South Coast Wedding Photography
Kingston is Jamaica's capital and cultural heart — a city of colonial architecture, Blue Mountain backdrops, and historic estates like Devon House and Terra Nova that photograph in a way unlike anything on the north coast. The south coast, stretching through Treasure Beach, Black River, and Bluefields, is quieter, drier, and less visited than the resort corridor — home to Jakes Hotel at Treasure Beach and Sandals South Coast at Whitehouse, and some of the most genuinely distinctive wedding settings on the island. For couples whose vision of a Jamaica wedding sits outside the conventional resort geography, the Kingston & South Coast weddings page covers all of it.
For Couples Planning a Jamaica Wedding from Abroad
The majority of couples I photograph are traveling from the US, Canada, the UK, and further afield. They've chosen Jamaica for their wedding, and they're trusting me — often from thousands of miles away — to handle one of the most important parts of the day. When you're searching for a wedding photographer in Jamaica from another country, that distance can feel daunting.
That trust means everything to me, and I work hard to earn it before you ever arrive on the island. We'll connect early, go through your vision, your timeline, your venue, and any questions you have. By the time your wedding day comes around, you'll feel completely at ease — not just with the photography, but with me as a person.

What a Full Jamaica Wedding Gallery Looks Like
Your wedding gallery will be the thing you return to when the flowers have faded and the cake is long gone. Beautiful highlight images are easy to find. What matters is what a photographer does with the whole day.
I always invite couples to look at complete galleries before they book — not just the portfolio favourites, but real weddings from start to finish. That's where you see consistency. How the light is handled indoors and out. How the quiet moments are captured alongside the big ones. How the story holds together from getting ready to the final dance.
If you'd like to see full galleries from Jamaica weddings at specific venues, just ask. I'm happy to share them.
