This gallery is a collection of real elopements and intimate ceremonies photographed across Jamaica, on the cliffs of Negril, along quiet stretches of beach, beneath jungle canopy, and at private villas and boutique properties across the island. Nothing here is styled or directed beyond what the moment needed. What you are seeing is how these days actually unfolded.
Every couple approaches an elopement differently. Some arrive with a clear plan, others with nothing more than a time of day and a feeling they want to hold onto. What stays consistent is the way the day moves — quietly, without pressure, with space for the moments that matter to happen on their own. That is what this work is built around.
If you are trying to understand what an elopement in Jamaica really looks like — not in theory, but in practice — start here. Scroll through and see how these days come together.
I photograph elopements across Jamaica — from Negril and Montego Bay through Ocho Rios to Port Antonio and the south coast. If this feels like what you are looking for, take your time with the gallery.
Jamaica Elopement Photographer — Working Across the Island
An elopement is a different kind of photography job. There is no programme running in the background, no coordinator giving five-minute warnings, no crowd to navigate around. It is just the two of you, the location you chose, and whatever the light is
actually doing. My job is to stay out of the way, pay attention, and make photographs that hold up over time.
I have been photographing elopements and intimate ceremonies in Jamaica for over two decades. In that time I have worked on the Negril cliffs at sunset, at the Blue Lagoon near Port Antonio, beneath the forest canopy above the north coast, and at many
of Jamaica's boutique properties and private villas. Every elopement looks different because every couple is different. What stays consistent is the approach: careful, unhurried, and focused on what is actually in front of me.
Elopement Locations Across Jamaica
I work the full length of the island. In Negril, the cliff-top venues including Rockhouse Hotel, Tensing Pen, and The Caves give you dramatic western-facing settings that are genuinely exceptional at sunset. Seven Mile Beach is the classic white-sand
Caribbean option and it earns that reputation.
Port Antonio is a different experience entirely. Frenchman's Cove and the Blue Lagoon are lush, quiet, and atmospheric. The light comes through tropical canopy and tends to be soft and layered, which produces a very different kind of photograph from what
you get on an open cliff or beach.
Ocho Rios and Montego Bay cover a broad range: boutique cliff-top properties, resort settings, private villas, and historic estates. The south coast is less visited but just as strong — Treasure Beach offers space and quiet, while YS Falls can be booked
privately for a more secluded experience.

How I Work on Your Elopement Day
My approach is documentary. I move quietly, I work with the available light, and I do not use a shot list. What I am looking for is what is actually happening: the way you stand together when nobody is directing you, the light on the water behind you,
the few seconds just after your vows when everything settles. Those tend to be the photographs that matter most in the long run.
I also know Jamaica well, which is genuinely useful for couples planning from overseas. I can advise on the best locations for the light at a specific time of day, the timing that works best for each spot, and the less-visited places that most visitors
never find. I work regularly with a trusted group of officiants, florists, hair and makeup artists, and boat operators. If you need help building the rest of the day around the photography, I can do that too.

Elopement Photography Pricing — Jamaica
Elopement coverage starts from US$1,200 for 1.5 hours, covering your ceremony and a couples session, with fully edited images delivered via private online gallery. There is no cap on the number of images delivered. You receive every photograph
from the session that meets my standard. Every collection includes print and enlargement rights, black and white conversions, and the option to order albums and prints.
Coverage can be extended to fit what your day actually needs, whether that is a focused two-hour golden hour session or a full day across multiple locations. Additional hours are available at US$700 per hour. Costs are always clearly laid out before you
commit to anything. See full elopement and wedding photography pricing.
Is US$1,200 really the starting price for elopement photography in Jamaica?
Yes. The Horizon collection is 1.5 hours with me, covering your ceremony and a couples session, and starts at US$1,200. This includes fully edited, high-resolution images with no limit on number delivered, print and enlargement rights, and a private online
gallery. Additional hours can be added at US$700 per hour if your day needs more coverage.
What is the difference between a Negril elopement and a Port Antonio elopement?
Negril is open and sun-saturated, with dramatic cliffs and strong sunset light. Port Antonio is enclosed and atmospheric, with jungle rivers, freshwater coves, and softer, filtered light. Both work extremely well — the right choice depends on the kind
of setting you want.
Can you help us plan the whole elopement day, not just the photography?
Yes. I know the best locations across the island, the optimal timing at each one, and a reliable network of vendors. Tell me what you are imagining and we can work out the details from there.
How long after our elopement will we receive our photographs?
Your edited gallery is typically delivered within four to six weeks, sometimes sooner depending on the time of year. Every image is carefully colour-graded and retouched before delivery.
We want to elope at a waterfall. Can you make that happen?
Yes. Waterfall elopements tend to produce some of the most distinctive work, particularly in Port Antonio or at YS Falls on the south coast.
What if we want a micro-wedding rather than a pure elopement?
I photograph intimate gatherings of up to around twenty people comfortably. The approach remains the same: quiet, attentive, and focused on what is actually happening.
